ABOUT DANE D'AQUILA

Dane D’Aquila is an 18-year-old entrepreneur and the founder, owner, and lead photographer behind Dane D Photography. His passion for photography was sparked at a young age when he was gifted his very first camera. The instant he held it in his hands, he knew he loved every single aspect of the craft—from composing the perfect frame to telling meaningful visual stories behind the lens.

Over the years, Dane actively sought out guidance from experienced photography mentors to sharpen his technical skill, refine his artistic vision, and learn the ins and outs of running a professional business. Combining that hands-on mentorship with years of personal experience, he officially launched Dane D Photography in 2024. Today, Dane brings a fresh, dynamic perspective to portraiture, using an approach centered on authentic connection that makes every client feel natural and relaxed in front of the camera.

Dane’s work has earned national recognition, including having a photo published in Sierra Magazine for a dedicated feature project. Whether working one-on-one with high school and college seniors, capturing family connections, or directing large team portrait sessions, Dane brings that same publication-quality dedication and sharp eye for detail to every shoot.

Currently, Dane is attending West Virginia University, pursuing a major in Entrepreneurship and Innovation with a minor in Marketing. This academic journey allows him to expand his knowledge of business strategy, modern marketing techniques, and client relationship management—directly elevating the experience he offers through Dane D Photography. Following his graduation in 2029, Dane plans to take his business to the next level by transitioning into photography full-time.
